What is black flower power?

Black flower power is a term I came up with to describe myself and the potential I had.  I’m just little old me but to the world I’m a black woman so I wear my identity with dignity and respect.  I’m a flower because as a woman and mother, I recognize my inner and outer beauty, my spirit, my strength and simultaneous delicacy.  There’s more strength than delicacy however.  You’ll soon see.  My power does not come because of my race it comes because of me.  I’ve achieved so many things it’s about time we as women let it be known.  We have power to do many things.  I hope you enjoy this blog as it is my foray into social commentary.  It’s not to be a scathing review just for the hell of it.  It’s a blog in which I pull a Marvin Gaye and holler at anything that “makes me want to holler.”
